What I Learned From Snow Day Zoom Workouts âď¸
A friend of mine is a personal trainer, and during our winter weather last week she offered Zoom group fitness classes for her clients. She invited me to join, and I said I would. Because I said I would, I showed up that first day.
And then we had another snow day, so another Zoom work out. Wait for it, the snow still hadn’t melted, so we had another online class.
So I ended up working out with her three days in a row. Now, maybe I would have exercised by myself. But I wonder if I would have been as consistent.
It would’ve been easy to find an excuse to stay on the couch, to chill and enjoy a slower pace. But because I committed to showing up, I was consistent. I got my work-outs in and I’m healthier for it.
That’s the power of accountability - and it’s built into our studio memberships.
When you sign up for a studio membership you’re committing to coming to class each week to improve your dancing.
And that ensures you’re always making progress toward your goals. So when you’re tired, or it’s rainy - and it would be easy to find an excuse to skip class - you won’t. You’ll show up, you’ll dance, you’ll leave feeling better than when you started AND you’ll be grateful that you got it done.
So if you’ve ever want to learn to ballroom dance I invite you to try one of our studio memberships. It’s the best way I know to help you reach your goals and improve your dance skills.
