Everyone learns differently, and knowing how YOU learn best can help you learn to dance with more ease and joy.

If you're a Reading & Writing Learner - you learn best through the written word ๐
You shine when it comes to processing information through reading and writing.
You'll benefit from jotting down new steps in your own words to reinforce your memory.
Take detailed class notes, write down choreography, and read dance texts to solidify your understanding.
Pro Tips for Reading/Writing Learners ๐
- Bring a notebook to class and write out what you learned.
- Keep a dance journal of all your steps and review it before parties.
- Read dance theory and technical texts.
๐ Remember This
While the default mode for dance students is to take videos of new steps, you're someone who'll benefit from going a step further and writing out the figure in your own words.
Watching a video over and over isn't always helpful, but once you transcribe a pattern, you can quickly refer to your notes for a refresher.
As a reading and writing learner, you're an avid student. Keep those dance notebooks full, and you'll be a happy dancer! ๐
