Solo Skills

Since partner dancing is a team sport, sometimes people don’t think they can (or should) practice on their own. Solo practice is ESSENTIAL for helping us to grow and learn as dancers.

Benefits of Solo Practice:

  • Builds your balance and control
  • Ensures you know your footwork
  • Allows you to progress at your own pace

Remember:  If we can’t do a move on our own, we’re making it harder on our partner since they have to carry us both of us through the movement. Don’t rely on your partner to do all the work. A good dancer knows their part and practices their own to build their skills so they can contribute to the partnership.

Here’s to more tantalizing solo dance experiences igniting the dance floor ✨💞
