Top 3 Tips to Dance with Confidence! 🤩
The #1 thing that can hold you back from being the dancer of your dreams is...
your own beliefs and mindset.
So many of our students started out thinking that they could never learn to dance. That they were hopeless. That they could never be graceful or learn to move their hips. They avoided coming to class or dance parties for years.
But, just by taking one tiny step - simply showing up and giving it a try, they slowly but surely transformed into good dancers. Confident dancers. Sometimes even great dancers. They met new friends and had more fun than they ever thought possible.
You too can experience the joy and confidence that comes from learning to dance. Check out my top 3 tips below and let's get you dancing.

What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail? Too many of us worry about what would happen if we tried something and failed. Think instead - what would happen if I succeed 😌 Life life with that assumption; it's powerful.

Let go of concerns about what other people think. Our life is the center of our experience, and so we assume everyone else is focused on us as well. We think people are watching our missteps and fixating on our every flaw. Nope! They're too busy worried about their own lives 😅 People don't think about us as much as we think they do. Let that free you to be courageous in living the live of your dreams.

Embrace your inner child. In teaching ballroom dance to kids and adults I've noticed one big difference: Kids do not care how awkward they look, how long it takes for them to learn, or if other people are watching them. You ask them to try something, and they do. And they keep trying, and they get incrementally better until they learn. There's zero self-consciousness, no judgment. No shame for not being instantly perfect on their first attempt. I think we could all benefit by experiencing life through the eyes of a child. Knowing that we're here to learn and grow. That it's ok if we make mistakes. And that with time and practice, we can get better and eventually we'll get good - maybe even great. Finally that sometimes, having fun is the goal. We don't have to wait until we've mastered something to be proud and enjoy it. More joy, less stress - let's go! 💫
