Asking Questions at Dance Class
Don’t Be Afraid to Ask Questions! 🙋♂️
Asking questions is one of the best ways to improve your ballroom dance skills, whether you're in a group class or at a private lesson. You'll gain clarity and others will benefit as well. Being curious boosts your progress as a student of dance.
✨ In Group Class: Don’t hesitate to ask questions - chances are, others are wondering the same thing! We ALL learn and benefit when you ask questions in class. Just make sure your question is on topic so it doesn't derail the class.
👥 In Private Lessons: Take full advantage of one-on-one time by asking any and all questions you may have. You may even want to make a list of your questions in advance. This is your time to learn in a way that best suits your learning style.
🎉 At Dance Parties: Parties aren't an appropriate time to ask questions as the purpose is to have fun and enjoy social dancing. The music is loud, the floor is crowded and it’s not practical to conduct a mini lesson during the dance party. So save questions for your private lessons.
Remember, asking questions helps everyone - especially you. The more you ask, the more you'll learn! 🌟
