Did you know that East Coast Swing has many aliases? 🕵️‍♂️ It was originally called Eastern Swing, and is also known as Jitterbug, American Swing, East Coast Lindy, and Triple Swing.

East Coast Swing is an uplifting and energetic dance style that emerged in the United States in the 1940’s during the swing craze of the Big Band era. It was created by dance studios to be a more structured and easier-to-teach version of Lindy Hop. Today, the dance remains joyous and vibrant, captivating dancers and audiences alike.
